Peppy is a Control Hero from the Way of Chaos, positioned on the back line. Her kit combines team-wide disruption, Magic Damage, crowd control and the unique ability to punish enemies for attacking a protected ally.
Peppy unleashes a wave of magic that can stun, blind or slow every enemy for six seconds. The power of the ability scales with her Magic Attack.
The randomly selected control effect makes Masquerade unpredictable. A stun can stop enemy initiation, Blind can reduce incoming physical pressure, while Slow can give Peppy's team additional time to generate Energy and act.
Peppy surrounds an ally with a magical shield for four seconds. Every time the protected ally takes damage, nearby enemies receive Magic Damage in return.
Boldness scales with Magic Attack and becomes particularly dangerous when placed on heroes who repeatedly take damage, including self-inflicted damage.
Peppy fires a magical beam at the nearest enemy, dealing heavy Magic Damage and stunning the target for three seconds. The skill scales with her Magic Attack.
The combination of burst damage and reliable crowd control can delay the target's Energy generation and interrupt its offensive rhythm.
Trickster gives Frolic a chance to deal double or quadruple damage. Unlike Peppy's other abilities, this passive depends only on Skill Level.
This creates an unpredictable burst element: the same Frolic cast can range from strong pressure to an extremely damaging hit.
Magic Attack is the main priority because Masquerade, Boldness and Frolic all scale directly with it. Magic Penetration follows to help Peppy's abilities push through enemy magical defenses.
If Peppy receives another Magic Attack or Magic Penetration Skin in the future, it immediately becomes a top development priority.

Maximize Peppy's Gift of the Elements and prioritize her Magic-related development. Even from the back line, she still needs sufficient investment to remain active long enough to repeatedly control the battlefield.
Reinforces the stats behind Peppy's primary abilities and improves the consistency of her offensive and control contribution.
Provides additional survivability through Health while adding Magic Critical Hit Chance to Peppy's offensive development.
Cleaver is one of Peppy's defining partners. When Cleaver pulls an enemy forward with Rusty Hook and activates Putrefaction, his repeated self-inflicted damage can trigger Boldness repeatedly, creating substantial area Magic Damage around him.
Kayla jumps into battle and repeatedly damages herself through her own abilities. With Boldness protecting her, those hits can repeatedly trigger Magic Damage against nearby enemies.
Power Throw can group enemies together, creating an opportunity for Boldness to pressure multiple targets while an aggressive ally such as Kayla fights among them.
Masquerade can also create a tempo advantage for powerful magical allies such as Lars, Krista, Xe'Sha and Lilith. Disrupting enemy actions gives those heroes additional opportunities to activate their own powerful abilities before the opposition can respond.
Jhu's third skill specifically targets back-line heroes, allowing him to reach Peppy and pressure her before she has time to dominate the battle through repeated control.
Leper redirects Physical Damage toward the furthest enemy hero. Peppy's back-line position can therefore make her particularly vulnerable to this interaction.
If Peppy occupies the center position of the enemy team, Soleil can become an effective answer through his ability to deal heavy damage to Control heroes.
Rufus provides a durable frontline answer against Peppy's Magic Damage, absorbing magical pressure while protecting the rest of his team.
Against a Cleaver and Peppy combination, Cleaver pulling Dorian into the frontline can place nearby allies inside Dorian's Vampirism Aura, helping them recover through the continuous damage generated by the combination.
Peppy's identity is built around control, unpredictability and unusual team interactions.
Masquerade disrupts the entire enemy formation through randomly selected control effects. Frolic combines burst Magic Damage with a stun, while Trickster can dramatically increase Frolic's damage.
But Boldness is what makes many of Peppy's most explosive combinations possible. Heroes such as Cleaver and Kayla can repeatedly trigger its retaliation damage, while Faceless can help group targets into positions where that pressure becomes even more dangerous.
Build her offensive magical stats first, give her enough survivability to remain active, and use her alongside heroes capable of taking advantage of the disruption and unusual mechanics she brings to battle.
